Roma’s Argentina international defender Walter Samuel has admitted he would like a move to The Premiership and specifically big-spending Chelsea.

The 26-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best stoppers in the world and would certainly strengthen The Blues’ domestic and European chances next term.

Chelsea already have internationals John Terry and William Gallas as first choice defenders at the club, however Roman Abramovich has never been the type to refuse one more big-name signing.Read more
